Question about replacing a clutch on an off brand scooter with a QMB139 engine?
I have one of the off brand scooters, the clutch is bad, I am in search of a new one, but most people sell them without the clutch cover. How can I tell if mine is bad? And should I go ahead and replace the clutch and the cover?
Shouldn't really need the cover. The bits that wear out are the ones they sell, and that doesn't usually include the cover. Even if it's deeply scored or pitted, it's still gonna work fine. It's not like a cylinder, which has the piston racing up and down inside it all the time, and it's not like a manual clutch which is easier to abuse.
