16 inch 36cc craftsman Gas Chainsaw?
My chainsaw will idle great but when I press the throttle to make it go it starts to sputter and then dies. I have cleaned the Air Filter and also changed the Spark Plug. The gas is mixed with the right amount of oil. I don't know what else to do. Can someone Please give me advice. I am trying to get my firewood cut before the rains hit.Thanks so much
Sounds like you need to soak (NAPA's carb cleaner) the carb and recondition it with a kit. It appears you have a definite fuel starvation issue and the recon should do the trick, provided you know the piston and cylinder are in Good Shape (for good vacuum as well as compression).
